Critique #2: Movieguide article on how the LGBT representation in BAYMAX! promotes the sexualization of children's media

As soon as I first read this article I knew I had to include it in this project. It’s genuinely hilarious to me how much bullshit people are able to shove into one movie review.

Honestly, I find it an immediate red flag when someone refers to men and women as “males” and “females.” Whoever wrote this seems like the kind of guy to ask a trans person, “Oh, but what’s in your pants?”

Okay, maybe this isn’t even about Big Hero 6 but rather Disney Pixar’s LIGHTYEAR but it still falls into the same category as far as bigotry goes. This one makes me laugh at the hypocrisy of how religious conservatives complain about how the LGBT community is “indoctrinating our children” and then immediately turn around and push their biblical views.

Still so, so funny to me. Jesus isn’t going to suck your dick, bud.

Here’s my last little thought: Big Hero 6 and BAYMAX! have done so much more for me and taught me so many more lessons than reading the bible ever has. So please, stop claiming that menstruation and LGBT representation is inherently sexual, overall just stop being a bigot, and leave my beloved healthcare robot alone.
